I got the Bass Pro Shop flier today. I was flipping through it and noticed that they were advertising a sale on a few reloading kits. I've never seen any reloading equipment at Bass Pro in Vaughan. Is this a new thing or have I just not been seeing it?

Vaughan started carrying reloading tools and components again a few months ago. The Calgary store had them all along.

was in Vaughan today, not a bad selection,, prices are higher than Lebaron

Just a bit of advice when asking the staff there for advice, don't!! They really don't know anything about reloading, do your research before you go, trust me.

Very very true. Most of the big chains are the same. WSS on the north side of Edmonton had one guy I always went to. He was the real deal. Other than that.....well......read LuckyLuc82's comment again.

At Bass Pro Vaughan today I noticed they now have handgun ammo, handgun brass, and bullets. Also the 25lb bags of US made shot were quite a bit more than Huminsons at other gun stores at $69.99.

I have heard similar comments to this. I generally come here first, use the search function (as many questions have already been answered), and then ask here. So far my track record to getting accurate advice is good when using this approach.

LeBaron (anyone knows Steve's last name?) is a Canadian Saint compared to US-based BassPro. :D

If LeBaron has what you're looking for - this is usually a big IF - their prices will be VERY competitive on this side of the border.

BassPro prices are insane. As an example: A can of Hornady One Shot dry lube is about $17Cad at BassPro, I paid $8.50US at Midway USA (shipped to my friend in the US, of course).

Still, I visited BassPro several times since their reloading department went up, and even bought a few things, about $200 worth. Mostly stuff I needed right away and couldn't wait for to order in the US.
