Ergonomics of Elcan Specter dr vs Trijicon Acog

I want the 1x versatility. You know ,just in case I get attacked by ninja's in the middle of the night, and need to defend myself, or something like that. But serioulsy, I do like the feature of being able to switch from a 1x to a 4x, so I'm probably going to consider the DR.

I just sent out an offer on the EE for the elcan. I appreciate all coments. If i end up getting the elcan,I will be sure to post pics. Afterall that is an unofficial rule here on CGN.Q

I love this website.

I just mounted my Elcan Specter TR 1/3/9x 7.62 (#6) on my MH last week, only other person that I know of having one yet is gadget, and I sespect it is for some mil/leo trials that he is involved in.

I just need to zero mine!

Have you had time to take the TR out to the range? I'm thinking of putting one of my Modern Varmint when I take it home this summer but would like to see a first hand review before I throw money at one.

I'll add another vote for the Elcan. I had a 4x ACOG but sold it to finance the Elcan 1-4x, no regrets.
Only real downside vs the ACOG is the Specter is a heavy bi#ch, and I seem to remember the ACOG having a finer crosshair.
Otherwise the 1-4x on the Specter is slick and sweet, glass is crystal clear, and the eye relief is better. And it's made in Canada.
