I use lar-15 coupled with magwedge all the time for every guns chambered in .223/5.56mm that i have
I tough he was talking about the LAR 15 mags but i might be wrong sorry. I’ll leave this post alone lolWhat does this have to do with the OPs question?
I've got a pair of these pouches but use coupled mags. Single mags could work but would be slow if you're planning to use them for gun games I think
heard a couple vendors might be getting in a large order of 10/30 LAR mags in 2-3 months.... I'm tired of ####ing around with short LAR mags and will be stocking up to stop fighting with mag pouches and short mags.
TNA had a bunch of 10/30s last time I checked. I can't recall the brand but they've ran well in all the STANAG rifles I've put them in.
The ATRS mags are perfect in the ESSTAC shorties. I found the LAR mags a little too short. Maybe OK with the plastic loop the original ones came with, but might have retention concerns. Definately OK if you run them coupled.
There was a 5.11 smart phone pouch that worked OK with the single LAR mags, but I think it's now discontinued.
Can someone remind me why ATRS stopped making their mags? I sadly bought only two.
Are a few training classes I quickly switched to 10/30 LAR metal mags.
I ran my ATRS mags in my ESSTAC pouches but the pistol mags sit about the same height so it made reloading a PITA on the move
LAR15 in short ESSTAC Kywis will be too short
