estrous candles

my wife is so awesome!!
she makes and sells soy wax candles. we were talking one day and i asked if she could make me some doe estrous candles. well she's finally doing it right at present. they should be cured in time for muzzleloader at the beginning of december. hopefully i'll see more action during daylight hours that week. all of my pictures from my trail cameras are at night, not a single mature deer during daylight.

holy crap.
we left the candles cool over night in the garage, man does it stink!!!! i came home from hunting at noon and i could smell them fron the road! i'm glad we left them outside and not in the house. i put the lids on them earlier and i can still smell the doe pi$$ on my hands. can't wait to try them next week.

getting no action from the wife with my hands smelling like this!!!
as for the deer, seeing some small bucks during daylight and catching the bigger more mature deer all at night on our trail cameras. actually haven't had a picture of a deer in daylight in a few weeks.
