the part i really like is the choke it came with that adds an extra inch to the barrel bringing it to 19'' and its chambered for 2 3/4 and 3inch

i have a PPC match tomorrow afternoon and i will being trying this badboy out with some federal le127rs( tactical slugs ) and some 2-3/4 00buck . i feel like a kid on christmas day!!!!!!!

I never did understand the concept behind this gun. When cycling the action to eject the fired round you want the action to be as smooth and as easy moving as possible...but now it actually requires more effort due to spring compression and that can/will cause short-stroking when the pressure is on. Maybe I'm missing something?

i thought the same thing but after cycling a couple snap caps threw the ETRO and my 500 black water the beck stroke is almost just as easy but the forward is faster and smoother , im going to give it a good running tomorrow along with my 500 blackwater and see which one i like more and will post a report

range report better late then never , i got time to shoot my new toy and i have to say it worked flawless , sjot some 00buck slugs and some bird shot it cycled everything the spring assisted pump is an awesome feature the only con to this gun is there is no bolt catch of anykind but i have been informed that the fabarm sdass does not have one either. id have to say that ATA is doing some great work and are bringing some pretty cool and cheap guns to the table , all that is left is waiting for some to reach the canadian market , cheers and good shooting

You're right about fabarms and not being able to hold them open. I have a little "flag" (for lack of a better term) I bring with me to the range to stick in the breech to hold it open. Although to be honest I switch between having the spring in and out and can't decide how I like it best.
