I'm màáâäãåād...missed out an Auction on GB today...I thougt I had it in the bag then someone came clicked "buy out now" last minute...mad,
now I need to build one myself.

I just read that the stillers don't feed ammo nearly as well out of the magazine as Anschutz and cz's do. Single shot would be more ideal I guess

is it me or it's hard to find a Sako quad in Canada, I spent half a day on the phone looking for one,
found one finally in red deer 2 hours away and PICK UP only lol

I have a quad in 22mag and absolutely love it as it is a real tack driver, anyway I was always wanting to upgrade the stock as the one it came with leaves me wanting more. I will look at the Manners line of stocks as I have never heard of them before but was wondering what else is out There? This one hunts and it wears a leupy 3x9 so I am not looking for a bench style stock.
Thanks Nuttz

PS. I picked this one up at Epps when they first came in for $799. I'm thinking this was a good score.lol

Nice, but $2,200 US nice?

no I won't pay $2200 USD for it hence I bid $1900 usd for it, I'd rekon that's how much it would cost me to build myself, rifle + Lilja + Manners T4, and DIP rail, KMW bolt handle buttom metal, GAP bedding job and cerakoate(spell?) etc etc.
if you are asking if it's worth it for just a rimfire then that's a different debate altogether, I think it's worth it but others are totally happy with CZ455, and some people won't touch anything less than an anchutz 54...man if there were an anchutz 54 repeater in
Manners or McMillan that would be my dream rimfire trainer.

Had a bit of a sticker shock when doing the math. Price in USD + current exchange rate which isn't all that great + shipping + brokerage fees = Seemed a little expensive for a used Quad.

Then again, can't say I've kept up with the current price of Sako Quad and never had the opportunity to shoot anything with a Manners T4 stock.

For that $$, I would have been looking for a Anschutz 1907 repeater

If that 1710 HB is in a manners t4/t6 or McMillan a3/a5, I won't even consider anything else...
