Yesterday got a call that my TC Icon Precision Hunter*chamber in the 6.5 Creedmore as arrived, still in the box so i call my reloading components dealer, did order brass, dye, resizer, holder, etc kind of fun you get the rifle and after that you have to fetch everything you need to shoot it... According to the expert this caliber supposed to be more accurate than a 308 that remain to be seen, i have my doubts... Cheers. JP

Quite a while back, my oldest son missed out on a dandy rifle at a gun show. a Ruger No.1 in 280. He loves the No.1's. he knew nothing about the 280 and thought he'd do some research that night on the lap top in the motel room and if he liked what he read on the 280, he'd buy the gun on day 2 first thing in the morning. Nope, was sold by then!

I knew the incredible accuracy and top value of the TC Icon rifles but not the caliber, since only one was available i took it, i lost a few rifles myself by thinking to long, now i just jump but you do make mistake i bought a TRG-42 green in 338LM and i have big regrets not that it is not accurate but more that is a to powerfull caliber and after the first 20 shots it went in the gun safe... so it go both ways, hopefully i will like that 6.5 Creedmor caliber... JP.

It was on a spin rack at the local show probably four/five years ago.
It was a busy show and I could spot this gal about four people lengths away.
Evey time I gained a person closer to the Swede, some other SOB had it in their hands.

Nearer I got, another chap fondled it.....................dang is not the word that was going
through my head.
Buuuuuuuuuuuut, it happened. I finally got to hold her.
No markings anywhere on the barrel. Action was a Mauser 98 so big plus to start.
Hello? I finally got the sellers attention. One thing I was sure of, if I put her down, she
would be gone. Another chap was nudging me from behind. Not yet sir.
It turns out the fellow who owned a bunch of these rifles had passed on and he had
this one put together with a bunch of parts. It turns out to be a new bull barrel in the
6.5X55 Swede. She weighs almost thirteen pounds. Real nice bench shooting rifle and
makes me feel good at the range. The holes show up on the target where you put them.
If not for the 25-06 I own, I would be looking for this chambering in a T-3, Ruger, A-Bolt or Winchester. I have never looked back on this purchase.

Done it a few times in the past, but I don't run into that many calibers I don't know about anymore. Once in a while though, and I kind of enjoy that sensation of discovery, makes the whole process more interesting, somehow. - dan
