Ever shoot a Ruger KP345?

I recently had a chance to hold a ruger kp345. I really liked the way it fit my hand. I'm also hoping to get into IPSC sometime in the future. I own a 1911, and I love the gun. But, I'm a little small handed and I have to work a little harder with the gun as a result.

Considering how well the the 345 ruger fit my hand, I'm thinking it might be a good choice for IPSC. Plus, the gun retails at about $580.00. At that price, I don't feel like I could go wrong. (But that's how I usually feel just before I go wrong.)

Anyone out there have any experience/advice about this gun?
 
I love my 345 for all the same reasons...Get one and enjoy it!:)
However, for IPSC there are a Bagillion better choices....
You would have to start a course of fire with the gun decocked, and the double action trigger pull leaves much to be desired...:(
The limited mag capacity would leave you with numerous extra mags changes
in most matches....:eek:
Unless you yearn to be different, or really enjoy 'swimming up stream', check out the various threads in the Action section on choices of firearm.
