Evo mags?

So what's the deal with spare mags for the Evo? Seems we brought in tons of rifles but no one is bringing in spare magazines?

Does anyone know of wolverine or whomever else is planning on bringing them in? Only place I've seen the spare 30 rounders is at IRG in which they're now out of stock.

We do have a part number for the 20 round mags so we can take backorders, but we haven’t got anything for 30 rounders yet.

Sorry dont want to be a debbie downer, but i have been using my oem mag without the bottom plate and it functions perfectly fine. ( i drop it on a concrete pad at the range and the bottom exoploded). I glued the back half of the mag back together

i just couldnt see any benefits when we are only utilizing the first 2.5 inch on the straight part of the mag.
 
I've read lots of reports of similar failures like yours, as well as cracked feed lips.
I don't know if the manticore mags would resolve the weak polymers resulting in breaking bottom plates, but I know they've resolved the feed lip issues, by switching to metal feed lips. A system similar to lancer mags.
 
Be careful with Mags pinned by IRG. I'm not talking about bad cosmetics, which are akin to a bad haircut. No, I am a referring to the fact that the 4 mags I received today all fit and function with a 6th dummy round loaded. Whoops! Those will have to go back and I suggest that you check your mags lest you unwittingly become caught between a rock and a legal hard place....

Just relating my findings today, YMMV.....

When I filled out my import form today in the special comments section I asked them to be nice to the mags when pinning....hopefully they have someone with experience doing them.

Yeah 60 bucks per mag just seems a little too "gougey" for my liking. Considering they're half the price down south.
29.99 USD = 38ish CAD. 22 bucks to import and pin mags, nah I don't see it.
Spoke with wolverine, they'll be bringing in OEM 20 rounders shortly, but still no word on the 30's.
 
I emailed a z t e c h about 32rd mags a while back, they were not bringing any in until i told them they are currently on sale from Manicore for $20 each. If they end up being 60 bones a pop thats a no go for me. Ill wait till i head down south and grab them myself.
