Very Cool. Love the CZ50 and its larger brother the CZ52

And the FN series of 1910-1922's have long been a favourite of mine.

They are insanely accurate for small pistols and totally fly in the face of the silly logic that all small 12(6) guns are junk and inaccurate.

Perhaps the people that made the rules back in the early 90's were just crappy shots and didnt know anything at all about firearms, their history or quality.

I would prefer them in their original condition of course. The barrels are not extended, they are either new old stock or made new from scratch. You are not allowed to extend the barrel in any way in order to reclassify the gun. Best example is the M1 carbine whiich is always restricted but many people welded an extention on in the 90's when it was legal. Many M1 carbine still floating around which are not registered but should be. The CZ50 was made in 1952, the 38H in 1943 (evil gun), the FN1910 in 1968 (one of the last ones)

my eye's....they bleed.....

Oh ya? well here is some UK eye bleed for you, lol

I'll be looking to get that done to a 1910 as well. Fritzhanzel did you buy them like that or have them modified after?

The people who made the rules were American Congressmen acting on the information that most murders (at that time) were committed with .25 and .32 calibre pocket pistols because they were cheap to buy and easy to hide. Canadian politicians followed suit but did not do the one thing the Americans did right -- include a sunset clause so that, when the prohibition showed no positive effect after ten years, the law expired.

That's the same reason we have magazine restrictions and Americans don't.

That is horrible.. I really hope Canadians don't turn into their natural form of sheep when they come to do this to us..

yes, those mods are required it you want to legally own and shoot a handgun in the uk. Some belong to clubs outside the uk (France etc) so they can shoot unmodified handguns but of course that means they are also storing their guns there too.
