EXA Canada shotgun exhibit in Toronto?

I saw that ad too. I'm afraid my wallet couldn't handle going...
A love of fine shotguns is God's way of saying you don't make enough money. ;)

Looking is free and entrance is complimentary with an E-ticket (which seems like an attempt to build an email list.)

I'm not sure if I'll go. Judging from the list of exhibitors these are by no means the upper reaches of the Italian gun trade. With perhaps the exception of Cosmi, these are second tier makers at best.

This is very true.

However, it's a gun show. I don't not go to gun shows.

I agree...on all accounts. LOL.

I might still go if I'm not going to the range/fishing.

Funny - I thought Toronto's management didn't want guns in city limits. Guess I missed the memo saying they were welcome now....

No, that was only for the Sportsmans Show at the Direct Energy Center. The same place with the 1 million dollar eco-crapper. Toronto mayoral hopeful Joe Pantsonfire was in charge of the place and tried to force the Show to drop the firearms from the show so they went to the provincially controlled Metro Convention Center where this show is going to be held

I only found out about this by happenstance. This really should be posted in the "Events & gatherings" section? I think it will be more than just shotguns. This could be an opportunity to be one of those things where non-firearms people should be surprised at the number of GTA firearms enthusiasts that show up.

Good show! Every booth had beautiful guns or accesories. I hope they make Toronto a regular stop on their tour.

I went on the Sunday. Maybe 10 exhibitors tops. Nothing really extraordinary. Good thing it was free because you could see practically everything from the door. Just a thought but there should be a proper hunting and shooting show and incorporate it into that. The Sportsman's show is too big and crowded because it incorporates fishing, camping, boating and everything outdoors.

It's the first show they've had here from what I can gather. Small yes, but considering where it was held quite a milestone. This is exactly what we need, a high class gun show that appeals to the hoity-toity in Toronto. Expose them to guns in a refined setting, appeal to their ego, offer a classy event and their stance on guns will soften.

I though the show was actually quite good. The free all you can eat parmesan cheese was awesome along with olive oil and bread, added a bit of refinement to the event. There weren't a lot of exhibitors but they were all good. Fausti had a really nice little booth. Considering the size of Beretta their booth while the largest didn't really have much.

If the show grows it would be a real nice addition to our rather dismal local offerings. Like I said make it a classy event, seduce Torontonian's to a cheese and wine gun show that appeals to their ego and we're half way there.
