excel Ammunition Company

Jovo is the person i was dealing with. Hey 14 plus months is along time to be told that they are not makeing them. Why not say it in the begining, no one likes being given the run around. I think i've been very patient. Enough said.

I heard that the old Excel equipment was being used in a candy factory to produce jelly beans????What's that all about??

I've gone through thousands of Marty's 230 .45's as well as thousands of his 124gr-ish 9mm's... Yeah, I always ended up with a handfull of unusable, mis-shapen lumps of copper plated turds out of every box, but for the most part the boolits where acceptable... Given the price.
They were cheap
'Used to get 'em for cash outta the loading dock door...

As others have said Excel is long gone out of business.

AND THAT IS A GOOD THING.

Marty was a skunk plain and simple.

His product sucked. Well unless bullet cross sections are supposed to be OVAL!!

His integrity also sucked.........he took EESA for about $650 worth of range lead that he was going to "trade" for bullets. The bullets never arrived.

Then he said that he was just going to pay us cash and the cheque would go out next week.

Then it was the following week.

Then he left the country.

Did I mention that I do not have any respect for him?

In the end I would like to point out that AIM stepped to the plate and has made up for all the bad things Marty made me think of Canadian bullet suppliers. They are terrific people.
It`s too bad you had that experience from Marty....I would always go to Martys place of business to buy my bullets, and he would reduce the cost for me....As for the quality of the bullets, they were very accurate for PPC, and his 45 Colt cast lead bullets that I used for Cowboy Action Shooting were also very accurate, and I have the targets to prove it.....It`s too bad that in the end he turned out to be a crook and skipped out of the country....Very glad to see Aim Projectiles has stepped up to the plate...I have started using their copper plated 40`s and 45`s and I`m more than tickled pink by their uniformity and accuracy....Some people have claimed that Aim`s bullet`s are not uniformed in diameter, I have randomly checked the bullets before starting another reloading session, and they are spot on uniform....

Hey Quigley, can you bring those raisins with you to the next match we are overlapping on? You aren't shooting .40 anymore are you?
Relliot, do you have any plans in the future to make cast only bullets, especially for the 45 Colt?....I`m starting to run low and you can only shoot lead bullets at the competitions.....Actually, just cast lead of the other calibre`s would nice, as it would save people a little money.....What about it?.....Pretty please?..Pretty, pretty please?:p

Marty's 45acp & 44cal bullets were good, when his dad was around to help with the quality control. Since his dads passing, may GOD save his sole. The quality control really went down hill. His 9's & 40's were iffy at best, weight was off plus or minus. Sizing was a BIG issue for me. Mostly under sized.

There are no plans to make cast only bullets for the time-being, I'm sorry to say. But if you're looking for a .45 Colt bullets have you tried Wolf?

Yes well, after a quick search I note that you and I have discussed this before right here in these forums (http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=377719) and you got the same answer then as now, so I guess you didn't only speak to Jovo did you? You got the honest truth straight from me when you asked the first time, so it's not like you have been lied to. But I guess if you don't get the answer you want from the company liaison, you just go to the guy on the shop floor and badger him so you can selectively complain about the response. Well done.

The guys at Aim have been more than gracious in dealing with customer complaints, to the point of taking a beating on it for the most part. There were some admitted issues early as they ramped up and learned what it takes to make a quality bullet, and they saw to it that anyone who was dissatisfied was taken care of. None of this has been hidden and in fact, it is well documented in these forums and on our web site. As well, they have gone out of their way to support the shooting sports with match sponsorships all over the place for little or no gain. Usually a loss in fact. I've never seen a fairer approach to customer service in my life, and again, if you had spoken to me about your early production defective bullets I would have seen to it that you were more than satisfied. Instead you chose to bypass all the niceties and go straight to the slagging, so please, do feel free to take your business to Campro.

I'll stop ranting now.

For those of you out there who still buy from Aim: if you have any customer service or qulaity issues, please let us know. We value your input and are trying to make the best product possible for the money available. I'll make sure you are happy.

I never badgered Jovo, just remember that. Is he not in charge of bullet production? And not you. You were the last person i talked to on these forms, about 44cal bullets. Never met you in person. So don't rant about things, that you don't really know. I've taken my bussiness else where for over a year now, i'll leave it at that.

Wasn't there some some guy who said he paid off his house so now he can start a better bullet company or something? That was hilarious.

Are you referring to me, because i have started making my own lead bullets. Yes my house is paid in full. No leans in anything i do own. What i find hilariuos is people like you, is most likely to still live at home with mommy.:jerkit:If you have a bone to pick with me, meet me in person. In stead of hiding in these forms.
