Their old .22 WMR pistol and rifle have also been reworked for 5.7

I love them.
As long as they can get that barrel 1/2" longer and non-restricted.
I think I'd go with the .30 one, it would be easy to reload for.
It seems suggested retail is only like 800$ American, so hopefully 1000$ isn't impossible.

Either way I'm hoping those 10rd .30 carbine pistol mags work in the M1 Carbine.

I strongly doubt it, man. From what I hear, they designed it all from the ground up.

That said, you could probably mod an M1 to fit the mags with relative ease (just make sure you do it to a REPRODUCTION carbine).

I thought that 5.7 round was prohib in Canada because you can get it in a handgun and it defeats body armour. What ever happened to that ruling?

They make sporting variants that don't pierce armour. Those are perfectly fine.

As for the OP, been a fan of Excel Arms for quite a while. Too bad they couldn't get the .17HMR to work for them because a NR semi .17HMR would be cool. If that .30 Carbine comes in NR, I'll take 14.

That's a pretty neat lookin little rifle.

It's too bad 5.7 costs so much or it would be a great little varmint gun. The .30 carbine one is very cool, been a while since I got .30 carbine, but you might be able to do some light hunting with that.

I'll take the one in 5.7 for coyotes and a .30carbine one because .30carbine rocks.
MSRP $800 in the states, I'd trade my su16 for one.(assuming google doesn't say 'run away')
