Excel Bullets?

Wholesale Sports in Calgary has some of their products. I have bought the 200 grain .45 ACP lead semiwadcutter there.

They are good bullets, I have gone through about 700 of them.

Excel is in the west end of Toronto and I know that they used to sell direct. I haven't purchaced from them in about a year. Sorry, lost their phone number.

Excel bullets are manufactured by:

Martinello Importing Co Ltd

Prices are pretty good too:
Excel 180 Grain .40 $60/1000 CASH

I tried them and now they are only used for weighting my bench down. I found Goodwin better but prefer the Frontier by a wide margin.

HOWDY , I have been useing DRG bullets 42 /1000 for 45 cal. Lawrys in calondia .

The DRG are just cast lead. Excel are copper plated.

I have found some inconsistencies with the Excel, diameter varies on occasion. I still use them, clean and cheap for practice. The 40 cal are some of the better ones he makes.

I bought a box of excel 180gr's copper jacketed.
I was having problems chamber checking them when completed. So I grabbed my digital scale and caliper. Long story short some were so fat they failed the chamber check.

The ones I had were undersized. When I put them in the case mouth they almost dropped into the case. Thats how I found them.

It has been know for a while that he has had some quality control problems.
