Excellent cleaning solvent

Maybe you guys know this already but if you shoot saboted bullets you have to try this solvent.
It is made by CVA and it is called Advanced Sabot Shooters Solvent. It is unbeleivable! I used it on a guys rifle who always cleaned it after shooting and to look at it you think it is clean. Well after a dab of this stuff on a patch and jag it pulled off plastic from his barrel that you wouldn't think could be there. We ran 10 patches thru before it was all cleaned.

For that reason i also use the bullets that require the least amount of plastic sabot as possible. I may even try a ball and patch in my inline with pyro pellets and see what happens. Why spend money on plastic then spend money removing it.

Just thought i would share results of a good product with ya.

Long barrels of 1:60 are your best bet for round balls. Any faster twist they can strip and they run through the barrel.

I gotta get me some of that solvent, It's like the vacuum sales man that vacuums your carpet after you did to find your present vacuum is inadequate.
 
that's a good point, never thought of that. Round ball no good.

that solvent is super stuff, you'd be surprised the first time you use it.
