Let me preface this with - I am not a shill for Holosun and I won't buy a $900 Aimpoint Micro. I don't need the best to have fun, but I want good and reliable. I bought a Holosun HS403G a while ago during a sale and finally mounted it on a 7.62x39 VZ58. (This is my third Holosun HS403G, the other 2 have been bulletproof for about 4000 + rounds of 7.62x39.) At about 200 rounds the sight failed to hold zero. I moved the sight to another rifle and the same loss of zero. I was not happy at all but I have had failures from just about every sight manufacturer in the last 40 years. I emailed Holosun and within a few hours got a response. As instructed I emailed the pics of the bill and the serial on the sight. Again within a few hours I received an email saying a replacement sight was in the mail and no charges whatsoever. Wow! Excellent warranty service!

Always good to hear good news stories like this. Was considering a Holosun HS503c or HS515c but Cabela’s Calgary had their grand opening sale with Vortex Spitfire 1x on for $279. Love it because if battery ever dies on me, the reticle is still etched on the glass and the sight is usable.

I bought my Aimpoint Micro for around $500..but Holosun are decent optic for its price tho.
