exchanging firearm in Basspro

Get ruger with messed up front sight, now have problem with basspro.
Have y ever have to get your firearm back?

Trying to exchange or repaired this screwed Ruger 10/22 RR. Basspro gives me run around, talk to head office in US, been told that it should be exchanged (if less then 30 days) because it's factory defective. Been promised that manger will contact me, no answer or reply for a week. Is any one ever had problem with exchanging or repairing firearm from Basspro? Thanks.

Thanks all, I went to the store and check 10/22 compact rifle (they did not had Rifle like mine) and yes... it’s installed incorrect on my rifle...
How can I re-install it? I don't want to damage or scratch brand new rifle)
I try to gently hammer it out using wooden rod, it even did not move... any ideas?

How does the sight picture look? If the fiberoptic is still bright (try it in outside day light) I wouldn't bother switching it around.

It's visible but kinda washed out...other side is way brighter

Damn. Try to use a vice to hold the barrel, and use a wooden dowel or plastic punch.
