Excited! ...for a Norinco?

I took mine out for the first time yesterday. Using an assortment of three different bulk-pack type ammo, it worked most of the time.

The primer strikes were really light, and some rounds just wouldn't ignite even if I tried several times. I don't know whether to blame the gun or the ammo. With my ruger 10/22 rifle this might happen once in 1000 rounds. The M93 did it quite a bit. Maybe 20 times in 400 rounds. Had about 10 misfeeds as well.

Since it was cheap, I'm happy with it. It's about what I expected.

Here it is (at the end I get a burning hot shell up my sleeve..laugh it up fellas):

I have had 3 of these Mp93 plinkers. Here are the weak points;
#1. The rear site will come loose and Fall off ! Put lock-tight on the SET SCREW
#2. The hand grip screws will come loose after lots of Use,..lock - tight them.
#3 Be very careful with the mags..the "follower" is only plastic and WILL break if you drop it, or let it SNAP-Up emty. I made one out of Alunimum..problem solved.
#4. Some have a "LIGHT Hammer strike" simply Shim the heavy hammer spring with a tiny washer and it will put a GOOD hard dent in the case..works 100%
#5. If you take out the Trigger Group..your screwed!!! The instructions are printed WRONG and you probibly Wont get it back together again.
Other than these" EASY to Fix" problems,..they are a good solid accurate gun.
If you use WINCHESTER 555 ammo, the gun will have a few FTF and stove pipes. FEDERAL or CCI mimi-mag ammo works perfect.
The m93 is the Fastest shooting 22 hand gun I've ever owned.
