Exemption Holders Market?

Anyone have experience with completing an exemption sale of handguns from private individuals to an exemption holder?
It is my understanding that a select group of dealers, ATC, collectors and business/commercial license holders can legally transfer handguns from RPAL holders.
I know handguns can be exported, however that process seems to be very difficult and cost prohibitive with current tariffs.
I have a couple collecting dust. Is there a market for this type of transaction.

That market is tiny and exemption holders can afford to be picky.
Otherwise it works with various degrees of convenience. Selling to a business is relatively quick and easy, just like it used to be before the freeze.
Olympic shooter exemption holders can take a while and can usually only buy 22lr guns. Be prepared for a wait.
ATC holders also need to qualify on the gun they are buying so prepare to have some logistical issues to solve. And of course it has to be approved by the cfo as appropriate for the ATC.
All that said, go post on g-u-n-post and see how it plays out. Lots of posts there with ridiculous prices, can't see them getting sold (well, I certainly won't pay that kind of asking price when I can import for less).

Great info, thank you for the reply. That does explain allot. It looks like a business is the best way to go, just have to find a willing taker.
Do you know if any retail business can buy handguns, or is it a separate license?
