I've been considering purchasing one of these. However, i'm concerned over the ammo costs. How much will it run me per box? Is it hard to find? Can I reload it?

Saying it would be hard to find implies that you might actually be able to find some.... ;) Which rarely seems to be the case. There are dies available for reloading 5.7x28mm but I think the brass and bullets may be quite difficult to come by... If you want a gun to shoot regularly, you might want to pass on this one.

I talked to one guy and he reloads for his ps90 and he uses .224 bullets.

My BIL in Detroit area has one, and I got to shoot it over Christmas last year. Different than any pistol I have ever shot. The recoil is not hard, but it is FAST! Easily controlled, and not too hard to get nice groups, even out to 25 yards which was the farthest we could shoot at the indoor range. Ammo was expensive, but I don't recall the exact price. I do know that he had 3 ten shot mags and 3 twenty shot mags for it. Nice pistol to shoot, and we never had a malfunction all day after a couple boxes of ammo, but not my cup of tea.

If you can find a good supply of brass, say 1000 pieces, it'll be a very easy gun to keep fed. It uses .224" rifle bullets, typically 35 gr, although I've heard of 40gr being used. Definitely more expensive than other pistols to keep running, but so long as you find brass once, it can be done. If you don't reload, good luck.

the problem with reloading for the 5.7x28mm is the lacquer on the case.
The topic is discussed on the five seven forum, it is was kept me from buying a FiveseveN, cause reloading gear IS available

IIRC no dry tumbling or you will lose the lacquer, it has been some time so I cannot remember if the lacquer is only necessary to the p90
but just read here
