Before I become the guinea pig or the canary in the coal mine, does anyone have personal experience dealing with Triggers and Bows in Burford, Ontario?

Looking to buy some Hot Shot stainless nipples. Not many in Canada seem to carry them.

I'm looking for both good and bad experiences.

Thanks!

I live just down the road and stop there occasionally.

The folks there are friendly and helpful.

I have never had a problem with them.

The last stainless nipples that I got were from RustyWood out west, and did not have a problem with them, either.

I'm also close and shopped there a few times with no complaints. Then I was buying a NR gun, and they wanted to tack $25 service fee for a firearm sale, back when it was just a matter of looking at my PAL. No extra work, phone calls or web checks. I asked about it and they said they add it to all gun sales, and wouldn't expand further. It told them to pound sand and bought somewhere else online with free shipping.

Not only do they add it, but don't even tell you. It's just on the bill. If they felt it was justified, it should have just been added to the advertised price of all guns, as part of the price. BS that they sneak it on afterward.

They are a gun store, charging a service fee to buy guns. It's like a gas station adding a fee to buy gas, or a buthtcher charging extra for meat.

They're good to deal with. Before everything went stupid with handguns, I'd bring one with me to their indoor range. Since covid I haven't been back.

When the landsborough auctions were in person only I had alot of dealings with them. All positive. Once they switched to online auctions the prices went stupid. Not their fault by any means I just found prices went up drastically when dealing with the bigger market
