Experience with Berger 185 Hybrids

Any idea what speeds they were running at?

V0 = 792ms @ 16C (2598fps) with palma brass (small primer)

I've been researching an M1A build for the last month or so and I'd like to modify the gas system to accept the 185 Hybrids and Re17. Maybe I should just stick to the BT and sacrifice a bit of BC in order to go with a 'sure thing' for seating depth, considering loading to mag length in a gas gun is a primary concern!

HD I don't think a mag fed gun would probably be able to utilize the full potential of the hybrid. Might want to have a look at the 175 OTM as its should shoot out of your rifle no problem.

In my experience the 185 hybrids are not ideal for mag fed - even the generously porportioned AI mags.
