Anybody have experience with the Hornady Lock-n-load conversion for RCBS Rockchucker? It looks like a pretty good system and wondering why it doesn't seem too popular. Is it precise enough to load for precision rifle competition type shooting? I know my RCBS dies have set screws on the lock ring but not to keen on tightening the set screw into the threads on the dies.

I use the lock n' load and rockchucker for match grade .308 & .223.
Totally repeatable.
The set screw (as far as I understand) screws in between the pitch of the threads of the die, so shouldn't bugger them up.

It's a bit of money to fork out for the set up, and if you do it for one set of dies, you pretty much have to do it for all of the dies you want to load with on that press.
I only load 4 rifle calibers on my rockchucker, so it wasn't too bad for me.
Once you have it converted, and your dies setup however, there is no more ####ing around with the setup. AWESOME

Thanks for the reply beltfed. Took a closer look at my RCBS dies and they seem to have a brass set screw that gets mushed into the threads on the dies. Steel on dies are much harder than brass so i guess it is ok but would still like to hear from more Lock-n-Load conversion users....Anybody?
