experience with Tenda

I'm looking at different optics and the only place that I've found that carries my first choice of optic is a store called tenda canada. Is this a reputable site or should I keep looking?

Thank you

I have had some shenanigans occur from them in the past.
They often list ammo as in stock when it's really actually in backorder.
Last year they had a shipment of M57 Tokarev magazines come in, I placed an online order for 2 of them to be picked up in-store and waited 3 days before calling in to inquire about why I haven't received a "ready to pickup" notification yet. Only to be fed some bull#### about how the shipment they received was "defective" and they didn't have any left in stock that worked. In reality, I believe they sold them all. But they ended up refunding me very promptly and were nice enough about it.
I have bought ammo and even guns from them before. But that was in person when I was able to walk in, with cash, inspect the product and walk out with it. There are a lot of people that have experienced shipping shenanigans with them. So if you are specifically buying things from them online and having them shipped, be wary of that.

Al Flaherty's also has good stock on scopes and often better prices than Tenda. Other than that, Tenda is usually fine but people reported problems in the past and their customer service is meh.

Tenda is good to buy from but the free shipping isn't really free any more. they always tack on a CP oversize/overweight fee, and it doesn't matter if you ordered something that ships in a rifle box or small packet lol

They made a big deal out of approving free shipping to Nova Scotia because it was so remote. They said they’d cover it the first time but next time I’d be charged. The extra shipping fees would’ve been about $3 if I remember correctly. On a $2000 scope order. Seemed a little petty to me to split hairs over ‘free shipping’ for such a small amount. Based on that weird customer service interaction I would personally order elsewhere if I could.

There are likely some areas of NS that are not serviced by regular couriers, 'contracted' services instead. Depends on where in NS you are, just like Northern ON, NT etc.
Or else it's just ignorance of Geography - some people get thru school without a real education.

There are certainly areas where shipping is harder, but 45 minutes outside of Halifax isn’t what I’d consider remote. FedEx, ups, CP, Purolator, etc all service here just fine. East of Montreal is remote to some people though.

Ordered several times from tenda. They aren’t the quickest to ship but they always deliver and their prices are usually the lowest I have found online for most items.

Definitely not.

They have excellent prices on some items, on many others they are quite expensive - there was one time when they were cheap on most, now they rely on people like you.

I’ve ordered several items, guns, etc. Only one boo-boo, but it was because the box for the rifle was marked wrong. They paid return shipping and sent me the right one.
