Expired PAL, how to re new??

Hi guys, new here. My PAL expired in 2011. What's the best way to re new it? Do I have to do every pitching over again? I'd like to get my RPAL and get into pistol target shooting. I'm in the GTA.

Thoughts?

Renew your PAL then sign up for an RPAL course. They'll let you take just the RPAL portion if you already have your PAL. Just pay the $20 difference for the upgrade when you send in the RPAL app.
 
They may make you do the firearms saftey course agian they've done that to a few people before because they let it expire then they had to do a new application.

Said it was so people know the rules to never let it expire.

You could pull hey I sent it in a long time ago were is it.... Should I send a new one its been expired since 2011 I sent it in 2010 whats the status. They will do O we don't have it blah blah then pull the Ok should I redo it?

PS how does it feel to know your a paper criminal.... if you own firearms still.....

If you know someone with a pal you might want to set it up for them to hold your firearms while you wait for the paperwork to be sorted out because the police will show up and go hey you don't have a pal let us hold them for safe keeping while you wait for paperwork...
 
I called them, they said for me to just do the RPAL course, once that's done and I send my form in, grab a new pic, they will just add the PAL on my file. Since I have a number it's all there. Sounds easy ill get it done in the Spring.
 
Hopefully you don't currently own any modern firearms. Guns plus expired PAL equals an offence.

Nope. Sold them all before I left the arctic. Not much use for an 870 in the GTA. Looking to get into target shooting pistols. Went with a buddy of mine out east and really enjoyed it.
