Express sites

Hello all. Im looking for ideas for express sites to add to a sxs 12ga. Im planning on cutting the barrels back to 24" and filling the gap.
Ideally a shallow V rear and german silver or ivory raised bead but will look at any thing put forward

This would be great but im not sure how to get a leaf rear sight to match the height. I was thinking of just soldering the standing leaf insert to the rib and filing the V to regulate but not sure if it would work. Id loose windage adjustment that way.

If you are adding express sights to a cut down 12 gauge sxs, I don't think that you worry about rear sight windage adjustment too much? I think is going to be pretty good challenge just to find the spot that the two barrels are regulated to hit, if there is such a spot after shortening the barrels. And I do not think the old school "express" rifles were adjusted for windage once their regulated zero was found or set. I presume that you intend to fire 12 gauge slugs, to explain the desire for the rear sight?

Buck shot mostly but it will see slugs when the inline adapters are removed

Ive had good luck with other cut down sxs guns. Mostly older aya guns that had muzzle damage
