extended chokes

Question for some of my learned friends ,is it possible for extended chokes (such as Diana for browning) to change the point of impact? Can the extended choke if its not true or how its placed (tight or not tight) make a differance? This is only for extended chokes not flush mounts which I believe would or could not..

Short answer ... yes.

Even flush mount chokes can change the point of impact, if they aren't manufactured true, of if they aren't threaded in true to the bore.

You can actually send your gun to briley and have them make eccentric chokes that will change your POI if the barrels are off or you desire a change.

thanks guys figured it was the answer ,the extended tubes change the POI on my xt quite a bit off to the patterning board now with the stock chokes and see what come out lol

When I installed the Briley Extended chokes in my XT, the patterns improved, but I noticed no change of point of impact.
