External hammer SxS question

SxS newbie question: On the Dominion arms Outlaw, which trigger controls which barrel?

I'm going to go with the front trigger firing the right barrel and back firing the left based on this picture...

SXS's are easy to figure out with double triggers, as the pic shows.
The triggers are seperated left and right on the same side as the locks are.

So with both hammers cocked, the first (forward) trigger drops the right hammer. To fire the remaining left barrel do you just pull further until the rearward, left barrel trigger releases or do you have to re-position your trigger finger from the front trigger to the rear triigger. I'm asking because I have read on the internet that the rear trigger can be fired with the middle finger.

When ready to fire, put ONLY one finger inside the trigger guard (Doing otherwise is asking for trouble (and a possible double))

Its also begging to get your finger painfully whacked under recoil from the front trigger.

Fire the rear trigger first, and then fire the foreward trigger. Doing it this way avoids entertaining "accidents". Ask me how I know...

With a decent sxs I have to ask why it would matter. It's way more natural to pull the front trigger first. I've had a sxs with an extremely light back trigger, which should be shot back trigger first until I get it fixed, however I don't see any need otherwise.

Choke is the reason why it matters... In a decent sxs and o/u you get to pick your choke. Usually right barrel first (more open choke) left barrel tighter choke. Usually your first shot is at closer distances. Or if the game flushes further out you can pick your tighter choke.

Thanks Win/64, I was aware of that, i was more so referring to hansols post where he mentions pulling the back first to avoid accidents.

I have often skipped the front trigger in favor of a tighter pattern on a further shot when hunting. However in general it is just natural to pull the front first if trying to make a quick double. Something I'm sure we agree on.

Yes, front trigger first (generally), then the back trigger. Use the trigger finger only.
