hello,
any comments on extra long firing pin for SW625 revolver. Just wandering if it will help the ignition of primers as advertise by CYLINDER AND SLIDE. Planning to lighten my action revolver, just concern when using winchester primers for misfires. thanks

If your present firing pin doesn't protrude enough, it will help; however if your firing pin isn't underlength it'll cause more problems than it solves.

You would have to be careful of piercing the primer.

Also, that pin is for the models with the firing pin in the frame and not the hammer nose.

RePete.

thanks for the comments and advice, My sw625 is the frame mounted firing pin. it just reminds me of the 38 super with extra long firing pin(race gun) to prevent the primer flow when loaded major many years ago.
