Extraction issues

Does anyone have a video or writeup on addressing extra extraction force on a pre accutrigger savage mk11 in 17 mach2? I get the odd failure to extract and the extractor slips over the rim. Often the cases that stick end up having cracked necks.
Is there a stronger spring that can be installed?

Drift out the pin that retains the extractor. Check the spring and the flats where the extractor pivots. Polish if necessary. Check and make sure the extractor hook is sharp.This definitely helped and old MK11 I had in .22 LR. As for the split necks I don't know. I hope the MK11 .17 is the same style bolt as the MK11 .22 or I have wasted your time.

call savage with your info and S# and they will send you a extractor replacement kit.

called them last week myself and waitiging for the kit.

I've read about this issue and a couple suggestions come to mind -
1) make sure the chamber is really clean, some cases will stick inside if not
