Extractor problems on Norinco 14" lawman 12g.

hey have a 870 clone lawman and have put maybe 300 slugs through it so far and a few bags of 000 buck. Up until recently never any issues. But after firing it is having failure to extract fired shell casing. It will extract snap caps or unfired rounds no problem. ANy ideas on this one? And anybody have a viewable manual on how to take it apart to get out the extractor? Mine came with nice pictures of other Norincos..but nothing on the one I bought. I also heard that parts are interchangeable with 870 police guns? Thanks... as I gotta go shoot some more slugs soon...

This happened to me with my old 14" Nork after about 300 rounds. I changed out the extractor with a milled remington one and it was back working 100% again. Cost all of 20 bucks. Easiest way to take out the xtractor is to take the bolt out of the shot gun. Holding the bolt pointed away from you, push the extractor forward and to the left. Using a thin bladed screwdriver, hold down the plunger and spring inside the bolt (under the extractor). This will let you just wiggle it out forward and to the left. It took me longer to field strip than to change the extractor. Very easy job to do. PM RePete on this webiste, he may have a spare extractor for you, he is the 870 guru here.
