Hey guys, buddy is having trouble with his M305 jamming up (stovepipe jam) Now as far as I know his bolt has never been touched at all. I offered to disassemble it and cut the spring for him (did this to mine but it took some tuning) I was wondering if anybody knew the proper length for the spring? If I had the proper length could it just be trimmed to that and thats it thats all sort of thing? Or does each rifle need the "fine tuning" as in one coil at a time, also is there ant USGI springs available for this?
Ive also read that some scope mounts cause these issues more then others, Hes got a CASV-14 mount on his I believe (Id have to verify that it was for sure) Has anyone had problems with these? If so can some material be removed to "angle" the spent casing more?
Thanks in advance for any help!
