I would guess the media might call that a "close-quarters manually-operated assault gun firing nitro-based cop-killer ammunition which is prohibited in Canada".

Sight radius is just a LITTLE short for my taste; be really hard to make a decent group.

That said, I now may enthuse. What a beautiful specimen! Is there anything on the butt marking disc? Sometimes they would mark these to whatever armourers' school they were used at.

I have six different versions like that, plus one full length cutaway.
They were used for training soldiers on the mechanism.

Sorta off topic, but at that same auction, there's a G43 estimated at $500-600 ... If i had the cash i'd bid on that , minimum bid right now is $260 (based on the online auction).

Way back in the day my Cadet corps had gotten it's hands on an FN C1 training cutaway that was fully functional (although non firing of course). It was a beauty of a piece since you could see virtually EVERY moving part from the trigger mech though the gas system and the breech block. Some weapons tech put some effort into it.

I have never found another that was that detailed.
