Eye Relief

I think the problem is more of an improper ring height than of a front-back problem.

Think about it and repost for explanations.

I had the same problem as the OP is having. I went with a one piece multislot base and a 2-7x32 with medium PRW rings which the scope cleared the base and gave me all the adjustment needed. I can understand the frustration of not having a gun that fits right.
 
Okay, Problem Solved. .

Picked up and installed new bases (an extended base for the front)) Now Leupold rings and bases (2 piece). Move the scop[e back about a half inch. I now have the proper eye relief and a complete sight picture without having to DISLOCATE my neck to achieve same.
