I just ordered one of these online for my Stevens 200 critt'r gitt'r.

Anybody have some experiences they wish to share about them. I know they looky gimmicky, but they are still a better option than a $100 Timney w/ installation to boot.

Thoughts?

They look pretty mickey mouse to me. Any idea what a "gun bun" is? I definately wouldnt get one of those based on the nam alone.

Are you able to put a trigger out a savage into that Stevens 200? Might be cheaper than a Timney.

Im a big Timney supporter (other than the religious material they include in each trigger package). No use putting in a $100 trigger in a $200 rifle.

Actually, I am ordering 'gun buns' for all my rifles. I wonder if they make them for pistols too....If not maybe the ex will crochet some for me

Your right about the $100 trigger in a $200 gun - hence the EZ thingy. The Stevens 200 can not be fitted with a Savage Accutrigger.

I am still awaiting the "why not spend a little more $$ and by the (insert brand name here) instead of the Stevens";)

I wasnt too sure if one of the non-accutrigger triggers from a Savage might fight. Im not a Savage/Stevens guy so I'm a bit unsure which pieces are interchangable.

On another note...

Why don't you spend a little more $$ and buy the Sako or Weatherby instead of the Stevens

You can get a good trigger from Sharp Shooter Supply for around $60.00. You can also fit the Stevens with a take off 3 screw adjustable trigger from a non-accu Savage, fit it with a new lighter spring made from some piano wire (hobby store) and have a reasonably light trigger for little money.
