F.E. Malin / H. Heimbecker Info wanted

Hi Folks: I'm looking for information about Frank Malin and / or Harry Heimbecker who worked in Melbourne, Ontario a few years back--maybe in the 80's. A friend of mine recently inherited a beautiful cased 20ga double by Malin and Heimbecker. Did they work in partnership? Was Malin the gunmaker and Heimbecker the stockmaker? This 20ga is almost identical to a Holland and Holland 12 ga. Did one or both of these guys apprentice with H and H in England. I know H. Heimbecker is deceased; is Frank Malin still alive? still working in the trade? Any info is greatly appreaciated. Please send pm or e-mail to: rgwillis@bmts.com

Frank Malin turned out some first class work. His masterwork was a pair of 20 bores made as an Alberta commemorative. One was given to bonnie Prince Charles as a wedding gift (we were too cheap to give him the pair). The other resides here:
