In case anyone is wondering why this forum is superior to GP. Here's a little beauty.
'crazyjay1982' purchased a carbine build at auction in November, he then went to work on it. Removing property stamps and refinishing it, etc. It is now being sold as a Gebirgsjäger Carbine, which it clearly is not.
Direct contact with other members of that site in regards to their ads for anything but the purchase or sale of a posted item is considered harassment in the site's terms of use. Hence we must put our faith in the reporting mechanism and hope justice is done.
Fraud and misrepresentation in the collection of milsurps is significant. It robs the new generation of collectors of the pleasure and material value of the hobby. Second, it brings the entire market into question and disrepute.
Here is evidence of my claim. The first photo is as it was, the second is after modification. I have full sets of photos from the auction and his post.

If you try and pull this 5h1t on CGN you will be tarred, feathered and BANNED.

Not only that, but that deep vertical file mark under the “5” shows he’s not got a very steady hand with the file to boot.

I liked it better as a gun with Czech and Israeli markings.

Agreed, the OP that thinks Gunnutz is superior is delusional.
I had a Gunnutz member fraud close to $400.00 from me and six other members.
He had a drug problem and sold the same rifle to seven different people.
I won’t mention his name because his Dad is a respected member both on Gunnutz and Gun-Post.
Don’t be fooled by anything. Fraud is everywhere.

I didn't realize relating a superior experience on this forum to other made me delusional. Nor did I ever imagine that notifying members of our community to a particular incidence of fraud would elicit or be deserving of insult.

The evidence is contrary to your claim. The ad for the "German Mountain Carbine" has been reposted. It would be difficult to post if, "The owner of GP bans guys instantly without debate if you just give him proof."
