I saw a deal online for a scope mount for my SKS.
Didn't realize it was hero outdoors until it was too late.

What arrived was such a hooky piece of SH!T.
I worked and worked at it trying to get the damn thing to fit. 8 G.D. Hrs of file here, tweek there, Paint to to see where it's rubbing and file some more. And the Pin still won't go in. WTF?
Checked the factory cover and did some micrometer measuring.....NO WAY IN HELL IS IT MADE EVEN CLOSE TO RIGHT.
So pi$$ed. !!!

And there is no point in sending it back as they'll just keep it and my money as they did when they sent me the wrong SKS mag's.

I wish they were close to me so I could go over there and punch them in the face !

I'm downloading a browser ext. for the sole purpose of ensuring their site is blocked and never pops up on my screen again.
I suggest everyone else do the same.
 
I ordered a part, called in first to make sure they actually had it. They said they did and I was good to go. Two weeks later I get a call, they don't have it.

They offered a different product or refund which I thought was acceptable. I requested the refund, got an email saying "refunded". My credit card comes in, no refund.

It took about six calls during regular business hours before I got someone on the phone and had them perform the refund again... This time it went through. What a pain. I'll avoid them in the future.

HOW?? You needed to click their website, you searched their website for the mount, you had to fill out the checkout infomation.... You still didn't know you are on Hero site?

And if it didn't fit right away.. Why did you bother working on it for 8 hours?
