Does anyone here have experience with the Frankford m-press?
The price is decent but I also don't want to buy it and then run into issues and then buy another press again.

I am debating between the m press and the Rock chucker. The fact that m press sits on the bench without the arm hanging low is a plus for me due to space constraints. Again, that wouldn't help unless the press is worth having.

Any opinions?

Thank you

So I bought one back when they first came out because it happened to be on sale at Cabelas. I was stepping up from some Lee Gear and wanted something a little more adaptable with potential for tighter tolerances.

I was loading for just 6.5 PRC at the time and ran into a head spacing issue. Due to the built in shell plates I couldn't get the die low enough to properly size the cases I had. It could have been a die issue but I had used it before on the Lee without issue.

Promptly returned the M-Press. Which I was sad about because I liked it being fully table top and not hanging down like other presses. I ended up with a Rock Chucker and haven't looked back. It has been a great press! I don't use the integral priming system as I prime with a ram prime so I cannot speak to that feature.

I did look at the RCBS Summit press to be more table top but haven't bother changing as I have it setup now where it works just fine even in a small space. I will likely step to an arbour press in the future for precision but will keep the Rock Chucker. An maybe a progressive of some kinda for bulk loading. 9mm on a single stage can get tedious.

It's a cheap knock off of the Forster Co-Ax. I love my Forster Co-Ax and my Rock Chucker. I use the Co-Ax for benchrest loading, and the RCBS for bullet pulling, 12g brass sizing and loading, etc - anything that the Co-Ax can't really do well.

I'm suspicious about the price difference between the Frankfurt and the Forster (which admittedly is very expensive). Based on my experience with other Frankfurt stuff, I'd look for a used Rock Chucker. It's simple, strong, and will last you a lifetime.

A bit different experience for me than BDB.hunting, with a similar end result.

I bought one from FA via Amazon. Great price, cool features i liked. Right out of the box, the integral lighting was damage, and did not work. I set it up figuring I would just order a replacement and move forward. I immediately noticed that it was not perfectly linear in motion; these was a lot of wiggle in it. Strike 1.

I tried contacting them regarding the light by email; no response at all. Strike 2

I contacted them by their phone number and was told that they do not honor warranty in Canada, and no, they would not even sell me the part I needed. Strike 3; their out.

I contacted Amazon, made arrangements to return it for a complete refund. No issues. I promptly ordered a Rock Chucker and have been happy ever since. I fitted it out with a Lee quick change bushing, bought the adaptors, and have never looked back! I use a Lee bench primer not the ram prime. Much easier I think

I have two Lee Pro 1000s I use for pistol ammo; they are a bit of a PITA, but they do work mostly and I have made thousands of rounds with them.

There is a channel on yt that has some vids on troubleshooting an M press, called back 9. Johnny's Reloading Bench did a couple of vids on it too, They have a few issues.
