FA powder drop modification

Has anyone tried opening the hole in the powder drop to prevent bridging extruded powders?

Why don't you just put a powder baffle in?
My Lyman 55 was bridging and I filed an RCBS baffle slightly to fit, problem solved.

I use a baffle in my measures. I don't have that exact measure though.

I do not understand, it has baffle in the top holding tube but it bridges in the measure tube

I can't see a baffle from the angle the pic was taken.

The drop tube bridging is a situation that you just have to accept canl occur when using a thrower. Ball or flake powders tend not to do it as badly as sticks, but, you have to pay attention when using a thrower, as it can occur with pretty much any powder.

Update:
So drilled it out to just under .3 as I only reload 308 right now with it and never dispense right into case, measure everything, it is 100% improvment! Powder flows perfectly same as ball powder, more accurate, highly recommend.
