Hi guys,

I just bought a new FAB Defense grip and hand guard for my 858.

I know that I am not that expert in rifles but I have to ask a stupid question:

How to change that ugly upper hand guard?:bangHead:

Thank you in advance.

That part I know, my question is how to remove the stupid wood/plastic part from the handguard to replace with the FAB Defense one that I bought.:(

if it has bent metal(kinda like ear flaps) holding the wood piece on you will have to bend them in the opposite direction, shouldnt matter if they break off. Mine did and I haven't had any problems from it, more then a couple of years afo

anyone got a link to a good light mount of the cz 858? I got my fab handgaurd and i'd like a light now

I'm havin' trouble tryin' to fit my Fab lower hand guard in place, the ferrule is larger than the channel in the hand guard. Is this normal? If so, does anyone have a good way for me to get around this? Thoughts?

look in the stickys for halp
How do I get the plastic off the upper handguard?

I got it to work. It took 10 minutes of trying to be real clever, and then 1 minute of bashing it into place with a hammer! Also, installing this hand guard set required a s#!t-tonne of dremeling... It fits like a glove now though!

Ditto, had the pocket knife out shaving it to fit.
