I'm looking at some FAB Defense additions to my DA556, available on the Wolverine site. Are these decent quality stuff? I'm particularly interested in the 'Survival buttstock' that they say will fit either the commercial or milspec tubes perfectly? Does anybody have any experience with it?

No comment about the stock ( I'm partial to the Magpul UBR , CTR , STR, end even the old M93 )

I went through a phase of trying a multitude of grips ( Tango Down , BCM Gunfighter, Magpuls , ERGO and the MAKO

I actually liked the MAKO AGR-43 rubber grip and will say its outstandingly comfortable. Their "tan" is noticeably lighter than Magpul FDE , which doesn't bother me but may annoy some

The regular stocks are decent. I don't know about the survivor one. My Armalite M15 came with one. I would rate it inbetween the regular magpul CTR and the cheaper CTR without the lock. Good fit to buffer tube with almost no wobble. The back opens up for storage, it had a quick release point, the rubber pad is good and you can buy a cheek riser that works well as the stock was designed for it from the start. The magpul has a cleaner look and I like the extra lock on the regular CTR.
