So I put a new ar together and charged the handle to function test it. Half way back my finger let go of the handle ... damn buffer is jammed up. This buffer, came in the FAB Defense collapsible buttstock kit, is too large. I tried a new buffer I had lying around and its fine in the tube.

Is FAB Defense stuff normally crap or what? Just wondering, the first thing I noticed, besides appearance, was the rubber butttpad is easy to flick off. I suspect it would get caught on something much sooner than later.

Same junk as TAPco and CAA.

Actually at least Tapco is made in the USA. (CAA and FAB I think are Isreali)

I got the 4-rail handguard for my Benelli M4 shotgun and had to do an enormous amount of fitting to get it to actually FIT. Once I got it fit, it was okay. But it doesn't surprise me at all that it was junk. Use a FAB Buttstock? maybe. Pistol grip? maybe. Handguard? maybe.

anything functional? no way man.
