I was curious to know as to how the polymer fore ends are holding up?

If not such a stable platform, then I'll simply get FAB's aluminum version.

I bought the Fab set, ended up replacing the upper with an NEA to mount a sight as I didn't like the thought of a sight on a plastic rail. I kept the lower with a Tangodown vert grip, and even after 80 rds rapid fire I can still hold the foreend. But even though I like the insulation effect of the polymer lower, I would by the NEA handguards if I was to do it again. The Fab's look good but in the end you will end up wanting the NEA's. YMMV.

I find the rail on the FAB intrudes into the iron sight picture more than I like. There's no way you can get a co-witness with any optic on it, either.

The NEA rail or barrel clamp is the way to go for an optic.

I never had an issue with the Fab rail. It held zero very well for me and my optic sat nice and tight on it. I switched to the NEA upper for the sole reason of cowitness with my TRS-25.
