Here is a new one some of the SxS enthusiasts may like. Available in 20ga only in bbl lengths of 28" & 30" with your choice of Splinter with English stock and Semi-beavertail with Pistol stock. Looks like a nice gun and in a conversation I had with a large reputable dealer they were saying that the experience they have had with Fabarm to date has been very positive and that the quality is exceptional for the price.

A great looking upland gun from Fabarm.
At $4k in the US, it will be over $5k in Canada.
There's a lot of competition in that price range, notably B. Rizzini and Fausti.
I look forward to the day the Fabarm Autumn arrives in Canada, so that we might handle one.

I think Shooting Edge in Calgary had them in stock a while back. They do not appear on their site. I guess they sold them.

Single trigger on a SxS?

I guess the single trigger works with the pistol grip and modest beavertail forend if you must, Jack O’Connor and Charles Askins would have really liked this, maybe with a ventilated rib as well. Not my cuppa, too clubby for me in this version.

It is just an upgrade finished version of the Classis, call it a ClassisIV with a case hardened receiver. The Classis owners manual lists DT's, but, I haven't even seen a pic of one that had them. I have a pair of the 12ga Classis, one with 30" bbls is about 7 yrs old now, shot nothing but 3" 1-1/4oz 1425fps Kent steel in it, around 8 cases or so now, been the primary goose gun, has done well, killed a lot of birds with it. Single trigger was a compromise for me, no issues with it or the selector. Was the only non-turkish gun in it's price range that had all the other features I wanted, English stock, 3", chokes, oiled finish, rtated for heavy steel loads. Didn't like the stock finish or metal finish on the FAIR Iside at that time, although I did acquire a FAIR 20ga Vintage hammergun since then, but, only because he made me a deal I would have been silly to refuse, good gun though.

As they say, there's something for everyone but Fabarm guns have just never turned my crank for reasons I'm not certain of. Not only that but the only place I knew of that sold them was the Shooting Edge and I refuse to purchase anything from that store after JR caused the Swiss Arm fiasco a few years ago.

Iv'e had a few Fabarms, and they are indeed a very fine product and I do very much enjoy a good SxS, but at 5K, yeah i'l pass.
There is stiff competition in SxS market at that price.

Fabarm is now distributed in Canada by the Korth Group. Hopefully they will bring it the attention it deserves. Some here might know this -- Fabarm factory produces Caesar Guerini & has since CG'S beginning. Fabarm has always produced good solid guns but were poor at marketing -- a few years bac=k CG bought the controlling interest in Fabarm and since then have gained status in North America.
cheers

I guess that is why the gun dealer is carrying Fabarm then. In talking with them on the phone about a Fabarm trap gun they felt they were very good quality.

The poor marketing use to work to our advantage, now that people are figuring out that they make a good product, the price is starting to climb. My XLR was 900$ when I bought it a handful of years ago, know they want more then double that, getting into Beretta/Benelli money at that point, one might not consider them at that price.
