Okay...so one of the nice guys at TSE in Calgary mentioned to me that "someone out east" had been talking to them about potentially developing a plate (akin to a single point sling plate) for Fabarm shotguns to allow Knoxx stocks to be mounted.

"Someone out east" sounded a lot like Badboybeeson to me, seeing as the single point sling plates were mentioned in the same breath.

Is this a potential project that was looked at and then discarded? Is this something being considered? Is this something that is currently in the development stages? Is this something that people other than me might be interested in?

Actually, I know at least one other person that would purchase said adaptor for certain. He's handled a Fabarm and fired an 870 with a Knoxx stock...and would drool at the thought of being able to combine both.

OK that was just not nice :0
We are at the prototype stage right now testing begins in 2 weeks.
Then approval and manbe changes based on feed back from TSE as these will only be for sale via TSE and there Dealer network.
I Have tested one of the proto types and i,m very happy with it, but more testing has to be done to make sure it is perfect, there is alot of work involved in this idea as the rem 870 and the Fabarms use two completly different stock lock up systems and then there is the recoiling mec of the knoxx stock adaptor and the LOP issue to deal with.
This knoxx/Fabarms stock sps plate will be a Pat Pend item.
If all goes as well as it has been it will be well worth the wait

It is a great idea, I almost bought a Fabarm but the lack of aftermarket parts stopped me. A Fabarm shorty with the spec ops stock would a very nice piece of kit.

That's what I like to hear. :dancingbanana:

I for one am willing to wait for it to be done right. Only being available via TSE and their dealers is not a problem, since I am less than ten minutes away from TSE

A Fabarm (torn between the 14" and the 20") with a SpecOps stock would be super slick :shotgun:...or WILL be super slick, since the future availability of the adaptor has cleared the final question mark from my brain with regards to purchasing a Fabarm instead of an 870 or 590A1.

...like this?

Hey badboy, did you ever find a Knoxx Specops to use as a guinea pig??
yes sure did a member lent me thers for a weeks.
I have one if the 1st knoxx stocks the knoxx cop stock, toldeing wire stock, i just wanted to check the fit and finish on an m4 style knozz strock as that is what the fabarms adaptor plate is going to be intended for.
Knoxx stocks are by far the best thing is need happen to the shotgun in a long time, only problem is that knoxx has become so big so fast that they cannot fill there orders fast enough.
To the point they some of there models like the Mossberg are back ordered in the 1000,s.
So we based the S&J Hardware stck adaptor plate on the remington Model of the knoxx comp stock.
As 75% of ther production go to makeing the reminton model

Ok great! I was gonna lend ya mine if ya still needed it!!

I am glad I got it when I did, TSE had lots of em in Stock back then lol!!!

I might go to the COPStock though, and a full length rail, mount the EOTech further up the rail so I can still fold the stock...love the looks of the COPStock :)

no valtro,s are crap, that why they stoped making them.

Actually it's very well made. It just didn't catch on in the market well enough in North America to continue import.

More to the point however, you could have got a premium price for a custom request. Instead you issue a vulgar dismissal.
