I have the basic system without the pouch and I can absolutely vouch for it's performance.

The light weight of the velcro will not upset the wonderful balance of the Fabarms either.

This will keep you from putting a side saddle on your Fabarm. The only real solutions I have found to that is chop the factory fore end down, or modify a Magpul 870 MOE fore end to fit. After either of those, the S&J is a great product. The 7 rounders fit perfectly and hold shells securely.
 
Or you could get the 4 loop shell holder, that would fit nicely without chopping the forearm.

The 6 might be a squeeze, but with the velcro backing, you can cut it to whatever you desire.

It is tough to find options for these shotguns, hell even a choke is an external one and makes the gun overall look quite strange.

Reasons why I like the elastic carrier:

Versatile, cut it, trim it, and stick it anywhere.
Weight, it weighs next to nothing and does little to offset that wonderful balance the shorter Fabarms have.
Collapsible, the loops collapse in on themselves neatly putting themselves out of the way (unlike traditional side saddles)

And above all else, Price, number one factor. It's cheap. You can buy several for the price of one metal or plastic carrier.
