I've heard it said that the Fabarm is a clone of the 870, and I'm wondering how close they actually are. Has anyone tried putting 870 tacti-cool accessories like fore ends and sidesaddles designed for a Remington on to a Fabarm? Specifically forends... I want to change to a short forend but I want a pic rail on it for a light, or a Surefire 618FGA would be prime. Anybody try it yet?

I compared both of mine, and I'm not sure that they are very close.....let alone clones (aside from being pump actions). Probably not much parts interchangability, but I am no gunsmith.

no go on the stock anyway

I had a fabarm martial and bought a 870 folding stock for it. Not even close to fitting. Luckily I have an 870 too.

Nope.

The receiver, barrel and bolt setup are very different.

and what's wrong with this? :p :D

Off topic, but I always questioned the positioning of the front rail on the Fabarm pumps. It's exactly where your hand needs to go to cycle the action, so put on a light, and it becomes even more awkward.

nothing fits in the fabarms to the 870
but very soon you will be able to fit any 870 but stock an the fabarms.
IE a 870 knoxx m4 comp stock on the fabarms, call TSE and ask them all about it :)

It works fine, just mind your hand on the rail. It's not for plinking with with the light attached, but I'm going to be getting a rail cover ASAP.

Nine,

I am just curious what exactly is the purpose of the light on your Fabarm?

Do you hunt raccon at night time with it?

Other then that, I just don't see the purpose of it other then coon hunting?

Yep a 14" Fabarm with the Specop stock seems awfully juicy to me. Might have to sell my 590....

Zombies like to attack at night and it's hard to hold a flashlight while working the pump action.

What purpose does an AR-15 serve? Why does anyone need a semi-auto handgun? How come all firearms aren't blaze orange in color? Why are there so many calibers?

How about you post pictures of your guns so we can all buy exactly what you approve of.

Easy killer.

I never said it was not cool. I just wanted to know what the purpose of it was, as 1.. you can only hunt coons at night "correct"? well at least for Ontario that is.

Second, AR-15's.. come on, plenty of use. It's called having fun at the range.

So many calibers? uhm, that one never made sense but I am sure you really know why there are so many calibers.

I actually think it is cool, and Farbarms are ###y shotguns. I just wanted to know what the personal purpose was for the light.
:yingyang:

I bought it specifically for bears in northern MB.

Nighttime zombie attacks are also a growing concern.
