Hey guys,

Have any of you bought the stocks from Fabsports recently? He seems to have a decent deal on them right now, but I am worried that I should have them glass bedded before I put it on my Norinco. I was looking at the better conditioned ones without any cracks, which will only need primer and paint.

What should I do?

Thanks

Mine is great

I'm going to have to say go for it, mine is tighter than a nun's ###X and all I had to do was give a quik coat of good paint to make it look reasonable. pretty light and solid. No stock liner needed. YMMV but mine is a good one.

And you might as well get them while they are still available!

I bought one before he even had the major and minor repair ones for sale I don't feel the need to bed it because it's already a mo*****ing tight fit

but as every other part on these m305, it'll depend on your particular rifle

These stocks can be cleaned with ammonia to take all the dirt and oil off and painted any color you desire. The forward sling swivel can be replaced with a new one by drilling out the rivets. Then you used cap screws and nuts to install the new sling swivel.

I'm working on a very detailed narrative and pictorial for norinco-izing the usgi fiberglass stock. Hope to have it ready to be posted in the coming week or so.

Stateside supply of usgi fiberglass stocks is drying up BIG TIME from all sources i've spoken with who buy from them regularly.

If yer in the market for one, I'd be snapping it up...... Fabrice at Fabsports is a great fella to deal with. I have ceased sales of my remaining inventory as the steady demand for custom versions has not let up for over a year :D

Git one and have 45 paint it up purdy fer ya!

when my dealer status kicks in, i will be offering painting services and custom modifications.... but in the meantime...... please hold off on p.m.'ing me about such work as I am not currently accepting any orders until dealer status has been confirmed. April will be a good month to be an M14 owner :D

A detailed pictorial would be absolutely amazing. I was thinking of bedding and painting it myself after watching the whole clinic video just now. The process seems easy enough. Only thing I need to know really is what materials to use for both painting and bedding.
