Factory .44 russian ammo, where to find some

I seen a couple hundred of new empty brass casings at the last OACA Gunshow, I think the asking price was $40 per hundred. I could check it out for you, if it's still available at the next Show, if you'd like.
Let me know.

Fiocchi loads it too. Epp's is a Fiocchi dealer. As does Ultramax. Whoever they are. Don't think their ammo is available in Canada anyway. None of it will be exactly cheap.
You have a revolver in it or are you thinking less recoil out of a .44 Mag? If the latter, loading .44 mag cases to .44 Special velocities will do it.
"...$40 per hundred..." That's not too bad. Midway, Stateside, wants $21.99 per 100 for Starline brass.

I have an antique S&W in 44 Russian but I am lucky that it was one of the last ones made and they wanted to use up some left over longer 44-40 cylinders so my .44 Russian can handle .44 spl brass just fine. However I would not want to try full power .44 spl loads in it.

.44 Russian is a really neat ,accurate chambering. Also lots of .44 mag and .44 spl gear like those reload cylinders and some bullet molds work. It is getting more popular and there are even some new .44 Russian revolvers being made for Cowboy action.
